Sunday 30th January 2022 Juniors Training

We will be holding contour training at Inchydoney sand hills (far side of hotel) on Sunday week (Jan 30th) from 11am to about 2pm as part of Irish Junior Squad (IJS) activities. The Inchydoney training will have exercises suitable for beginners (aged 8+) up to JWOC training (M/W20).

Many juniors should know about this already but it is probably news to the younger juniors who are not yet registered with the Irish Junior Squad. We encourage all juniors over the age of 8 to try out this training.
Please send an email to Tony Cotter (tonycotter1 at gmail dot com) by Friday with the names of anybody who is interested in participating. Parents are welcome to try out some exercises themselves while waiting around.

Meet at usual car park at 11am.
Finishing at around 2pm

Move to the eastern dunes (beyond the hotel) after a warmup by about 11:30am

BOC  ORIENTEERING EVENTS (you must pre-book)

SI event fees: Families €15, adults € 8, students €4, juniors €3.
Hire of SI Card €1 per card per day (€40 if card is lost or damaged).
Start times 10.30 am to 1 pm,
Courses CLOSE at 2 pm SHARP.

Pre-entries for SI Timing before 6 pm the previous day to orienteering.ie 
Credits given for some no-shows (contact bishopstownoc@gmail.com).
A limited number of entries accepted on the day but mainly for the Yellow and Orange courses only.
